Welcome to The Club at The Strand. In the heart of The Strand community lies our Championship 27-hole golf course designed by renowned architect Gordon Lewis. We feature 3 9-hole courses, The Sabal, Savannah and Preserve and each course offers its own distinct challenge.

The Savannah and Sabal courses played host to the LPGA Subaru of Naples Invitational from 1998-2000. World ranked players such as Annika Sorenstam, Karrie Webb and Laura Davies were challenged by the course and loved the layout.

The courses offer six (6) sets of tees to accommodate all levels of playability. For the ladies, the Gold tees are a nice challenge for lower handicap players and the red tees shorten things up just a bit and allow our mid to high handicappers avoid some of the longer carries. For the men, our black tees are all you can handle, even for a scratch player. The black tees stretch out to almost 7300 yards. Our white tees measure about 5700 yards. Starting in 2006, our Gold tees were rated for all our senior golfers.

For those of you just getting started or for the accomplished player wanting to improve, the Club’s professional staff offers a wide range of lessons and clinics.

Our one hour (1 hour) player development clinics are designed to tackle a specific aspect of the game. Full swing, chipping, pitching, putting, bunker play and course management are among the topics. The clinics are $25 dollars and are limited to eight students per session.

Individual, private lessons are also available for those who want to work on specific aspects of the game. Playing lessons are done on a space available basis for the player having trouble taking their game from the range to the course. You will also get a professionals vantage point on how to play the game as well as course management suggestions.
